5. PEACE CALENDAR – 13 MOON 28 DAYS – A PERFECT HARMONY OF TIME

Like space, whose measurement has  been standardized , it is extremely  urgent  to standardize time measurement basing on the laws of nature. The time is infinity and the time calendar design should produce faculties to create events  to be operated especially by the humans , which should be regular, harmonious and peaceful in nature.

This will reconstruct our psychic through infusion of orderly and harmonious impulses into our minds  so that all the responses are peaceful in order to enable “Peace” to rule our planet and the universe. Since appearance of  homo sapiens , they have adopted different types of calendar in the process of evolution.

Perhaps, the Gaulish Coligny calendar is the oldest celetic solar/lunar calendar, which tried to reconcile both cycles of the moon and sun. But the phases of the moon were given more importance , as each month always begins with the same moon phase. The mathematical calculations made it normal 12 months calendar in sync with moon and the whole system was kept in sync by adding an extra month every two and half years. Besides there were also Mediaeval Irish and Welsh, Pre-celetic , Neolithic, Neopagan calendars etc adopted from time to time.

Before 1582, 28 days 13 moon calendar system was in force which Pope Gregory XIII revised it in 1582 to 12 months calendar basing on the natural cycle of the solar year, where its months are of unequal length. The Gregorian calendar continuing till date divides the year as if it were a 2-D circle, 360 degrees of the circle is divided into 12 subsections of 30 degrees each, making a month of 30 days. This results in 12 x 30 = 360 days leaving 5 extra days.  To adjust these 5 extra days, months were made irregular  with 31, 30,28 days and every 4th year one day is added in the month of February making it 29 days in place of 28 days. The 12 months correspondent to 12 hours : 60 minutes clock, usually known as 12:60 timing frequency.

This is a flat and irregular measure of time and not correlated to nature’s cycles of time. This time measurement distorts our minds towards a disharmonious and incoherent violent world. The distortion of minds exposed our central nervous system to artificial rhythm of the clock and 12 months calendar , as a result our physical – mental – emotional body is delinked from natural cycle and oriented towards a mechanistic structure dominated by “matter”.

Such an artificial calendar drifts away the humanity from truth, order and harmony contributing to acceleration of violent thoughts and actions. The resultant effects of such drifting are more organized crimes, wars, diseases, failure of criminal justice, mafiaism, forgery, espionages, dirty businesses, unhealthy and unethical competition between industries and farm activities, money laundering and terrorism etc. Secret weapons for the wars of the future are constantly surfacing. Curtain is slowly rising for high technology wars with lasers, chemicals, microwave radiations, and germ etc. A recent media report has exposed that since 2001 till date the USA has spent $44.00 billions in germ warfare research. All these go to prove the perversion of scientific ingenuity – a serious consequence of continuance of violent calendar diverging more and more science of matter  and science of spirit at a faster rate of time. Such effects have given rise to a “apocalyptic cult” who believe that the “end of world” is approaching fast for which they are prepared to voluntarily give their lives to delay the doomsday.       

In order to counteract all such “creative destruction” and to put a stop to activities of a number of radical groups like apocalyptic sects etc, we have to find answers to the pressing question of human existence and our future of earth. The answer is reversal from our present violent path of  thought and action to a path of peace and harmony with nature, enriching self-knowledge (exploring ‘I’ and its eternal connectivity with “matter” and  “spirit” and an expanded consciousness). The first crucial task is to reverse the path in the process of time infinity for readoption of  “Peace Calendar” – the 28 days 13 moon calendar which was followed over 5500 years before the Gregorian calendar came into force.

Peace being the nature of the universe, adoption of Peace calendar will begin to synchronize with laws of nature thereby promoting harmony and balance in intra and inter – human relationship with the biotic and abiotic world of the planet earth/universe.  In the beginning of the 21st century and new millennium ,there is urgent need to adopt harmonious and orderly measurement of time so that it will invoke constructive inner harmony and consciousness to rule our activities to mould both the inner and outer world for transformation into an entity of sustainable peace.

This will encompass movement of planetary objects like stars , moons and planets etc as  reference points eternally linked to nature of time, so that mankind psychic , thoughts and actions are the outcome of balanced blending of proportion of science of matter and science of spirit. This will generate radiant constructive energy which will drive all social, economic, political, environmental and technological activities of human race to develop a culture of peace. The Peace calendar is a 28 days 13 moon calendar. The year has been divided by nature in 13 months as moon completes one orbit around the earth in 364 days and every moon of 28 days is equal to every other moon.

Thus there is a harmonic standard of 13 moons 28 days maintaining 52 weeks with 7 days in a week. This results in making every day of the week and day of moon same for each and every one of 13 moons. The first day of every year and every moon is Sunday. Every month end is Saturday. Day/date of every month will be uniform. This calendar reflects perfect periodicity as every one time we go around the sun, the moon goes around earth 13 times. There is one day gap between earth movement around the sun and moon’s movement around the earth. This one day is a “day out of time bound” and is to be celebrated by one human family living in different parts of the earth as the “World Peace Day”.  Peace is infinity , so his time and human mind. “Infinity – time -mind– peace” is a holistic concept for which a perfect calendar needs to be designed as a regular and harmonious calendar. Peace calendar of 13 months 28 days fits perfectly to the concept , which makes the human mind peaceful. With mind at peace and mind over matter, universal spirit prevails.  According to this calendar July 26 which is the first magnetic moon day is the New Year Day of the Peace calendar. The Peace Calendar ends on July 24 after the moon completes one orbit around the earth in 364 days. Further there is now leap year occurring every 4 Gregorian years.

This is solved in the Peace Calendar by accumulating 13 days every 52 years, which is the term of the solar-galactic cycle. These thirteen –day-out-of time is to be organized as Jubilee celebration every 52 years . This festival will be a grand one to be celebrated by the humanity world over for ushering and era of Peace through culture. Culture of time will converge with culture of mind and peace. The calendar will serve as a holistic tool to produce harmony and order in our life’s cycle process.
