1)RELEVANCE OF IDEA
OF “SUCCESS OF PEACE” IN TODAY’S
TECHNOLOGICALLY
COMPLEX WIRED WORLD.
Swami Vivekananda
said “Take up an idea. Make that idea your life-think of it, dream
of it, and live on idea. Let the brain, muscle, nerves, every part
of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea
alone. This is the way to success.” |

In today’s complex world
“success” is the key word. Everyone needs it. Success in economy,
technology, business, industry, IT sector, diplomacy, politics,
academics and all other human endeavors (all components of “Matter”
only) is the focus today. To a great extent, success has been achieved
in different sectors, but unfortunately it is not “inclusive” and linked
to “Spirituality-Consciousness-Peace”,as a result we
find as a

increasing violence, discrimination, inequity and stratification of
human society which to a great extent has affected the normal
functioning of Biosphere and the life-support system. Success is an
“IDEA”, but the success we are proud of today’s world seems to be
virtual and is not sustainable. This is because the real and
sustainable idea is not built into the today’s “success idea”.

Today, the
humanity is advocating and trying to promote sustainable
development, ignoring the basic concept that “ sustainable
development and Peace will rise and fall together”. All successes
will be transformed to failures if the idea of “success of Peace” is
not blended to “success of Matter”. This can only happen if the
humans will chain their ego and unchain their spirit with the
realization that success of today is giving rise to violence and all
kinds of social,economic, and environmental meltdown including loss
of basic humanitarian qualities at individual, family, community,
social, national, international and global |

|
level.
For example Phillips Centre for Health and Wellbeing,
Amsterdam have come out with a research finding that “35 is
the new 40 as Americans feel the pressures of middle age
earlier than ever”. This is now happening all over the world
due to pressure of unsustainable globalization delinked from
peace. |

Once
the mankind is able to unchain their Spirit, they
will be able realize the relevance of SCIENCE of
“Spirituality-Consciousness-Peace” which needs to be
blended with “Science of Matter” for a peaceful and
sustainable future of human civilization. A total
reform is needed in human thought, emotion and
action to adopt this Idea so that “JUSTICE” is
delivered to Biosphere. Time is highly ripe now to
measure development in terms of “Global Peace
PRODUCT” (GPP) and “Global Environment Product”(GEP)
instead of GDP/GNP. This is the KEY IDEA of today- a
challenge to be met at any cost to ensure that the humans are not wiped out from the universe |

2) NO GOOD INTELLIGENCE ON CLIMATE
CHANGE FOR YEARS |

See
and think of the present controversy of IPCC report
on melting of Himalayas glaciers. Blame game only
continues and medias and all others are very prompt
and proud of highlighting such negativities and the
war of words without trying to find out about the
TRUTH of future change. Climate is not an
independent and isolated issue. It is linked to all
kinds of human activities being carried out by the
humans. This holistic concept is missing in the
present deliberations on climate change. Thus Global
Climate Policy needs drastic shift in our thought,
intelligence and action. Our intelligence is heavily
concentrated on Carbon dioxide |

emission
and global warming. But US based Goddard Institute
for space studies have come out that main determinant of
temperature variation is solar activity which is
supplemented by human activity. There is need to know why
solar activity is changing in its own natural evolution and
due to violent and unsustainable human intervention. In my
book of “Peace Technology” published by authorhouse,
Bloomington,Indiana,USA(in chapter 7,Page 98), while
deliberating on “Biosphere Justice”, I have recorded from
history that “In |

the
past 120 million years,the
Cretaceous period (120-65 million years ago) was 5-7
degrees Celsius warmer than the present and carbon
dioxide concentration was much higher than today.”
This
highlights the Global Cyclic weather phenomena which
is not so much only dependent on greenhouse gas
emission. This is evident in the cold wave of 2010
which has brought about wide scale snowstorm in the
northern hemisphere bringing down temperature in
most part of the world while Australia is affected
by heat wave. The cooling of

the
earth has already 400 years ago when
Europe
experienced a mini-ice age. The inter-glacial period
is coming to an end.. Beijing was hit by heaviest
snowfall in the past 40 years. Latvia recorded
lowest temperature 27 degree Celsius which is a
record low in last 100 years. In 2010, Northern
hemisphere shivers with the report that Scotland and
Southern England are blanketed in the thickest snow
since 1981. |

Thus, it is
only with “good and holistic intelligence” global climate
policy needs to be comprehended. But unfortunately, Global
Climate Summits, Kyoto, Bali and Copenhagen(December 2009)
merely played about statistics without considering natural
changes in solar activity along with identifying critically
human interventions responsible for climate change. It was
expected much from Copenhagen Summit. But in this Summit no
legally bounded decisions were arrived at. No legally
binding limits for harmful emissions could be fixed.
Copenhagen Summit more or less concentrated discussion only
on final sharing of remaining carbon budget of about 1,550.0
billion tones that are left
until

2050.
Information was shared about world’s top ten polluters ranked by
their GHG emission per capita per year; which are
USA (19.10), Canada (17.37), Russia(11.21),South
Korea(10.09), Germany(9.71), Japan(9.68),Britain(
8.6), South Africa(7.27), France(5.81),
China(4.57). Sharing of atmospheric space at two
tones of carbon dioxide per capita per year by the
developed countries was discussed with a view that
balance 20% reduction should be taken up by
developing countries. But because there was no
consensus legally binding limits |

could not be
fixed.The
countries were given the responsibility to fix their own
limits. What a farce and mockery of such Global Summit?
Divide of “Developed” and “Developing” countries is widening
as if humans in both type of countries belong to different
species. It is really “NO GOOD INTELLIGENCE”. |
|
Holistic Ideas
and Intelligence to be developed to bring about equilibrium
between “global warming” and “global cooling”. Next year
meeting on the issue at Mexico should be structured so that
conflict between Developed & Developing countries is reduced
and should come out with Holistic Vision for Biosphere
Justice and Peace by analyzing both natural evolution of
solar activity and pinpointing activities of humans in total
geographical area (instead of Developed &
Developing Countries) destroying the Biosphere

and its life-support
system and then derive sustainable, justified and peaceful
solution to climate change threatening the human existence
in the Biosphere. This will be in true sense “GOOD AND
HOLISTIC INTELLIGENCE” which will enable the humans to
overcome the most burning problem of climate change and to
develop a climate and environment which provides security,
comfort and happiness to all the members of human family
without any discrimination. |
